The Contave logo brings together two ideas that shape our work: artificial intelligence and electromagnetic interference control. Its two flowing, overlapping forms each resemble the letter N. Together, they read as NN—the initials of neural networks.
Neural networks, expressed through a wave
Rather than drawing two conventional letters, we shaped each N as a wave. Straight ends flow into smooth cosine curves, connecting the familiar letter form with the language of signals and electromagnetic fields. The gently tapered tips give the mark a sense of movement while keeping the two forms visually connected.
Where the waves cancel
In the middle of the logo, one cosine wave rises while the other falls. They have equal amplitude and opposite signs throughout this shared section. When added together, they cancel.
The darker teal area between the waves draws attention to this meeting point. It highlights the region where opposing contributions balance, expressing the idea of controlling electromagnetic interference through an understanding of how waves interact.
A symbol of our approach
The overlapping N’s connect neural networks with the wave-based foundations of electromagnetic engineering. Together, they express Contave’s interest in turning research into practical tools: using intelligence to understand complex systems and help engineers make informed decisions about interference.
The cancellation is a visual metaphor for EMI control. ClearField supports model-based assessment and exploration of interference-control policies; the logo does not imply that the software emits an opposing wave or actively cancels electromagnetic fields.
